Jacqueline Ann Nabinger

Jacqueline died on January 4, 2024, at the age of 93. She lived most of her life in Massillon, Ohio, but moved to Leland, NC, in 2021 to be closer to her family.
She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic school and Washington HS in Massillon in 1948, and continued her education at Mercy School of Nursing to graduate in 1951 as a registered nurse. She was married to Arthur Nabinger II in September 1, 1956 at St. Mary's Church in Massillon, Ohio. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Massillon, and then at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Castle Hayne, NC. She was active in Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Girl Scouts and Band Parents and alumni associations of Washington HS and Mercy School of Nursing. She enjoyed playing bingo and euchre, dancing, music, painting, ceramics and traveling in their RV.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Nabinger III, her husband, Arthur Nabinger II, and her two brothers, Edward Allman and Robert Allman. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Givens and her son-in law, Brian Givens, her grandchildren, Alex Givens and his wife Karen, and Emily Byrd and her husband Dustan Byrd, her 4 great grandchildren, Hannah and Samuel Givens, Lilliana and Connor Byrd.
Viewing hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Leland Chapel, 525 Village Road, Leland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 4849 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne. A Funeral Luncheon will follow at Riverside Kitchen in Rivers Bluff, Castle Hayne.
Interment will be in Massillon, OH at Rose Hill Cemetery on Monday, January 15, 2024.
