Jacqueline Wittick, age 87, formerly of Mantua Township and Clarksboro, New Jersey passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. She was born to the late Russell and Dorothy Garrison and was a graduate of Woodbury High School, Class of 1956.
Jacqueline was employed by Penn Mutual in Philadelphia; Rocking Horse Ranch Nursery School in Barnsboro; JMT Elementary School; and Clearview Regional High School, where she worked as a cook and baker. She later served as a supervisor and bookkeeper at Holt Logistics in Gloucester City. She was a devoted member of Barnsboro United Methodist Church, Mantua United Methodist Church, and Evangelical United Methodist Church in Clarksboro.
In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoyed baking, decorating cakes, sewing, and camping with her husband. Following their retirement, Jacqueline and her husband loved to travel and shared many memorable vacations together.
Wife of the late Lewis Wittick, Jacqueline is survived by her children: Sandy Knopka; Kathy Spiritoso (Lou); David Wittick; and Stephen Wittick (Natalie); her grandchildren: Tori Knopka, Adrianna Crowe (Doug), William Knopka, Dante Spiritoso, and Courtney Wittick; and her siblings: Virginia Carr, Russell Garrison (Elsie), and Carol Hoffman (George), as well as her sister-in-law, Catherine Mihlebach and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Van Meter (Harold), Leola Long (Alfred), and June Kleister; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Smith (Smitty); and her brothers-in-law, Charles Mihlebach and Glenn Carr.
Jacqueline was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother; she will forever be in our hearts and so deeply missed.
Relatives and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacqueline's memory to Evangelical United Methodist Church of Clarksboro, by mail at P.O. Box 238, Clarksboro, NJ 08020, or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research | Parkinson's Disease.
