Jada Mae Buren, a radiant soul whose laughter and love knew no bounds, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2024, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on a sunny day in Inverness, Florida, Jada's infectious smile and generous spirit were a gift to all who knew her. Her departure leaves an indelible mark of joy and kindness on the hearts of her family and friends.
Jada was the cherished center of her family. Her beautiful children, Melanie Grefer and Malakhi Buren were the pride and joy of her life. Her unwavering dedication to them was evident in every action she took and every smile she shared. Jada was a beloved daughter to her parents, Tanya Buren, and Demetrious (Jackie) Smith, and she held a special place in the lives of her sisters Angel, Amirah, Katie, brothers Kamren, Keesean, Austin, Joseph, and Antonio.
Her grandparents, Lisa Wallhers, Demetrious Smith Sr, Denise (Jim) Ollberding, and Mac Buren (Amanda), will fondly remember Jada's warmth and the special moments they shared. Her legacy will also be cherished by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends who were all touched by her kindness. Jada was preceded in death by her grandparents Harold Wallhers, Jeannine Dehner, David Dehner, Ann Buren, and William Buren. Their guidance and love shaped the incredible woman she became.
Jada was the life of the family; her presence was a beacon that drew people together. She was known as everyone's boss, a title she bore with a charming mix of authority and humor. Her light shone brightly, illuminating the lives of those around her with her beautiful soul. Jada's work ethic was unparalleled, and she approached every task with determination and grace.
As a social butterfly, Jada made friends wherever she went, her laughter filling the room and making any gathering an event to remember. She had a unique ability to accept everyone for who they were, making her a friend to many and a stranger to none. Her humor was a source of endless entertainment, and her hilarious nature kept laughter in abundant supply.
Kind, thoughtful, and gentle are words that barely scratch the surface of Jada's character. She was a person who would listen intently, speak with compassion, and act with a tenderness that soothed the most troubled hearts. Her thoughtfulness was felt in every birthday card, every phone call, and every hug she freely gave.
Jada's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide us. She taught us the importance of embracing life with open arms, sharing laughter generously, and loving without reservation. Her spirit will live on in the stories we share, the memories we cherish, and the love we continue to spread in her honor.
As the sun sets on Jada's earthly journey, we take comfort in knowing that her light will continue to shine in the lives of her beautiful children, her loving family, and the countless friends whose lives she touched.
