Jaime Castro Sr.

Jaime Castro Sr., 59, passed away on December 13, 2025. Jaime was born in Comfort, Texas, on April 3, 1966, and lived his entire life in Boerne, Texas. He was known by those who loved him as a devoted husband and father, a hardworking man with a kind heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Amy Castro, and his children: Jaime Castro Jr., Tabitha Fairley (spouse Brock Fairley), Alicia Tyler (spouse Jeffrey Tyler Sr.), and Maxwell Shaw. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Caedin Castro, Wyatt Fairley, Shawn Castro, Tiffany Castro, Michael Tyler, Melissa Tyler, McKenzie Castro, Jeffrey Tyler Jr., Waylon Fairley, Braylee Castro, Jaime Castro III, Sofia Castro, Atlas Castro, and Aero Castro, and his great-grandchildren, Emily Castro and Lynnyx Castro. He is also survived by his siblings: Irma Martinez (spouse Armando Martinez), Sylvia Davila, and Juan Castro Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Castro Sr., his mother, Maria Castro, and his sister, Gloria Martinez.
Throughout his life, Jaime was dedicated to his career, whether he was working on feeders, doing construction, or in his true occupational passion-maintenance and building maintenance. A true outdoorsman, he loved being outside and everything that came with it. He also enjoyed building things and occasionally drawing. Most of all, his favorite pastime was grilling in the backyard while spending time with family and friends, moments he truly cherished.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home, 1265 N. Main St., Boerne, TX 78006. An additional visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 202 W. Kronkosky St., Boerne, TX 78006 followed by The Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. The Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 PM at Boerne City Cemetery, 700 N. School St., Boerne, TX 78006 immediately following. A reception will be hosted at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church following the graveside service.
Jaime Castro Sr. will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
