Jake Murdock Obituary

Jake was born in Fort Lewis, Washington at Madigan Army Medical Center on December 20, 2005 to Brian and Stephanie Murdock. As the son of an active duty soldier he moved around with his family to various Army posts throughout the US. In 2016, he moved with his family to Sparks. Jake was a student at local schools and most recently attended Edward C. Reed High School. At Reed, he was on the wrestling team and enjoyed snowboarding and playing the guitar when not in school. Jake loved to make people laugh and his smile was contagious.
Jake is survived by his parents as well as his siblings, Brayden, Ava, and Luke Murdock. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Jim and Lori Rountree; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service with a reception to follow will be held on Sunday, December 18 2022, at 11:00 am at Mountain View Mortuary at 425 Stoker Avenue, Reno, NV 89503.
