Jake Shuler Obituary
Jake had a love for Jesus and was involved in First Priority and FCA. Jake loved to play sports, especially football and golf. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, dancing, music and video games. Jake also loved riding around being with his friends and spending time with his family. To know Jake was to Love Jake. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a servants heart and will be missed beyond words. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Jake was preceded in death by his grandfather: Jake Shuler.
He is survived by his parents: Vonzel and Teri Shuler of Wink, TX; grandparents: Mary Shuler of Wink, TX, Connie Lajoie, Jeff Lajoie and Devora, all of Kermit, TX; brothers: Trey Bale and wife Devin and Jeffery Bale and partner Stephen, all of Wink, TX; niece and nephews: Harper Bale, Connor Bale, and Crew Bale, all of Wink, TX; aunts and uncles: Eddie and Adria Brewer, Shain and Liza Shuler, Todd and Carrie Asher, and Kelly and Barbara Lajoie; great aunt and uncle: Grace and Jerry Harrison; and cousins: Kalee, Addison, Amanda, Xavier, Allyson, Kenzie, Kennedy, Lily, Taylor, Avee, Miya and Coby.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Family Services Funeral Chapel in Kermit, TX. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Wink High School double gym in Wink, TX, officiated by Randy Unruh. Pallbearers will include: Kasen Wilson, Alex Soltero, Timothy Montoya, Maverick Creager, Jayden Tally, Blake Johnson, Ivan Chavez, and Abram Bell. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his friends from Wink and Kermit Schools and communities.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Grace Temple Baptist Church, PO Box 971, Kermit, TX 79745.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and condolences may be sent to the family at www.fs-fp.com.
