Jake Jay Tilley
Our precious son, Jake, passed away March 23rd. It was always a joy to be in the company of his infectious smile, his uplifting spirit, his sense of humor, and his enormous, warm hugs. He was always respectful, quick to offer a helping hand, and was kind to absolutely everyone. Kids and dogs were especially drawn to Jake's heart and energy; he loved to wrestle around on the floor with them. Jake loved everything about the outdoors, being a survivalist, shooting his guns, and hunting. He wrestled at Mesa High School where he graduated in 2019 and then headed immediately to the U.S. Army; he proudly served as a Combat Engineer.
This kind, tender-hearted young man leaves behind his Momma Bess, whom he loved with all his heart, his Dad, Duncan, whom he valued and respected, his beloved sisters and little brother, Molly, Hannah, and Oliver. We all miss him
A memorial service will be held for Jake on Saturday, April 1, at 10:30 AM
At One Life Church: 2130 East University Drive, Mesa
Instead of flowers, please donate to Sunshine Acres or an animal rescue.
Jake would have wanted that.
