Dear Eleanor, Tom and Beth;
Margaret and I send our sincere condolences. Jim's contributions to the Ludington community were large and lasting. Of course I particularly remember his service on the board of education. Always, always his focus was on students and making sure that what we were doing was in their best interest, ahead of everything else. His years of volunteer service to education were just one of his major community contributions.
At the same time, I fondly recollect Jim's even-tempered approach to problems and issues as well as his great sense of humor.
