James Richard Bartlett

James Richard Bartlett, 58, of Stroudsburg, entered into eternal life on Friday, January 30, 2026, at home.

Born on February 10, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY he worked in bridge and highway repair for the New York City Department of Transportation.

James was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Stroudsburg and St. Matthew's Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Yudelka (Mejia) Bartlett; his mother, Lenore (Prato) Devlin; his uncle and aunt, Richard Prato and Harriet Prato; James' two daughters, Lauren Leah Bartlett-Canderozzi and her husband Robert, and Heather Mary Bartlett-Calderone and her husband Andrew; three grandchildren, Gabriella Marie, Patrick Joseph and Isabella Marie; a sister, Pauline Trim; a nephew, Winston Trim and his wife Soraya; a niece, Taylor Trim; and cousins, Resa, Christine, Arnold and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bartlett, Patrick J. Devlin and aunt, Joan DiJoseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 6th, beginning at 10:00AM at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 78 Ridgeway Street, East Stroudsburg with Rev. Brian J.T. Clarke as celebrant. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are under the direction of the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg.
