Jason Scott Laise, 36, of Bartonsville, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 26, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital - Monroe Campus.

Born on September 30, 1989 in East Stroudsburg he was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. He attended elementary school at the Tannersville Learning Center, was a 2008 graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School and then furthered his studies at Northampton Community College.

Jason worked at Great Wolf Lodge and Weis Markets.

He loved to draw, was an avid reader, and enjoyed working on the computer and debating. Jason was smart and very handy, willing to offer and recommend solutions, and always willing to lend a helping hand when he could.

Surviving are his mother, Marie L. (Francks) Laise of Bartonsville; his father, Steven D. Laise and significant other Dianne Yu of Sciota; a brother, Dustin Laise and wife Kimberly of Henryville; a step-sister, Veronica; two nephews whom he adored, Daxton and Mattix Laise; his maternal grandmother, Erika Francks of Lewisburg, NC; an uncle, David Laise and wife Jill of Pottstown; two aunts, Cindy Laise of Las Vegas, NV and Barbara Francks and husband Tim of Lewisburg, NC; four cousins, Michael Laise, Ryan Laise, Emmanuel Assa and Greyson Assa; and his loving canine buddy, Lexi.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eman Francks and paternal grandparents, David and Marion Laise.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the Monroe County Diabetes Society.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg.
