Funeral services for James Elton Brady will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday June 30, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Art Beebe, Rev. Johnny Brady, Sr. and Rev. Johnny Brady, Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in the Lord’s Campfire Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA., under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

James was born September 10, 1941, in Winnsboro, and passed away on June 28, 2023, at his residence in Eros, Louisiana.  James was a Welder and Forklift mechanic by trade. He worked at the B.G. Company for many years. He always said God first then your family. He loved playing guitar at church and always stayed in shape in his younger years. He was a member of the Lord’s Campfire church as well.

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.E Brady and Maggie Bell Brady; sisters, Allie Carroll , Willow Dean Beatty; brother, John Brady; daughter, Brenda Green; and grandson, Anthony Hutto.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Brady; his sons, James A. Brady Sr. and wife, Resa; Johnny A. Brady Sr. and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, James Brady Jr., Gavin Schanks, Johnny Brady Jr., Aaron Brady, and Darren Lee Hutto; great grandchildren, Jayden, Braxton, Branson, Drake, Emma, Addyson, Kinsley, Brooke; great- great grandchildren,  Juniper and Athena.

Pallbearers will be James Brady, Jr. Gavin Schanks, Johnny Brady, Jr. Aaron Brady, Darren Hutto, Jayden Brady, and Braxton Brady.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M Thursday June 29, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
