Mr. James D. Britt, age 75, of Adolphus, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:18 AM at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.
Mr. Britt's wishes are to be cremated with no services.
James was born on June 9, 1949 in Allen County, Kentucky to the late Lewis V. Britt and the late Mildred Atrice (Brown) Britt. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Roberts and a brother, William Andrew Britt.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rebecca (Perry) Britt; three children, Jamie Reeves of Adolphus, KY, Anita Jones (Sheldon) of Scottsville, KY and William Britt (Tammy) of Scottsville, KY; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Britt of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
James was a retired welder for United Structures. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served a tour in Viet Nam. James loved to fish.
