James Timmon Bryant of Albany GA. passed away peaceful at his residence on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Funeral services will be held Friday December 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Gaines will officiate. Interment will follow at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

Born December 29,1937 in Tifton GA. The son of late James Walter Bryant and Cora Lee Lynch Bryant. After proudly serving his country in the Navy for twenty-one years and retiring from Turner Job Corps he dedicated his life to taking care of his wife until her last breath.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Wilma Marie Denby Bryant they were married for 64 years. His son Billy Bryant, his daughter Dottie Nell Bryant Bailey and his sister Barbara Ann Bryant Bennett.

He is survived by his daughter Rhonda Bryant Webb (James) of Vada, GA., his son in law Bryant Bailey of Albany, GA., his brothers Bobby Bryant (Mary) and Harry Bryant (Fran) of Albany GA., seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed.
