James R. Caesar, better known as Peter, was born on March 31, 1944 to the late Elizabeth Caesar and
Mclean Matthew. James and his two other siblings grew up on the beautiful Caribbean Island of
St. Kitts.
As an avid churchgoer, Peter met his wife Cynthia Caesar, and they were married on August 22nd, 1981. The 40-year union brought about four children, Troy Evelyn Telka Caesar, Latoya Callwood and Tiffiney Caesar. Prior to marriage and having children with Cynthia, James was the loving father to Angelina Caesar-Philip, Stafford Caesar, Sheryl James-Prince, Melroy Powell, Rodney Estrige, Fernando Hope.
As young adults James and Cynthia migrated to the island of St. Thomas with two children in tow. The provider of the family, James, began working for Kelly Security Services, but he later gained a greater opportunity as an employee at Ron De Lugo Federal Building, United States Courthouse.
In 2002, with family in tow, James relocated to Jacksonville, FL, where he gained employment with Fleet Landing. Shortly after his relocation to Jacksonville, FL, James retired in 2007. During his retirement years, James became a member of Good Samaritan life-changing Ministry.
Many knew James as a quiet and humble individual, who always greeted everyone with a smile. The father of ten children, 27 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, loved working in the garden, preferably growing vegetables and medicinal plants.
