James Salvator "Jim" Cafiero Jr, 47, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, November 25, 2024.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jim was known for his hard work, kind heart, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He spent his career on the road as a truck driver, accompanied by Teddy, his beloved dog who shared the journey with him. He valued his group of trucking friends and enjoyed getting on a call together and talking about "the trucking life". A big animal lover (especially cats and dogs), he enjoyed watching horror films, TikTok videos, playing Facebook games and shopping on Amazon. He also loved relaxing in a hot tub with a Corona.
Above all, Jim was a devoted husband to Susan and a proud father to Hayleigh, who was the light of his life. He cherished all of his family deeply. One of his last trips was to Port St Lucie where he spent time with his mother and brothers; he had been looking forward to going back at Christmas.
Jim will be remembered for his warm smile, his generosity and his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, their daughter, Hayleigh, his mother Linda Borello Swierzinski, his brothers Kyle Swiezinski, (Juanita) Eric Swiezinski, (Gina) Jessie Swierzinski, his sister Christine Cafiero, and his cousins Salvatore Cafiero, Danny Cafiero, Jennifer (Calvin) Smith, Dave (Darlene) Dwyer, Sean Geary, Brittany (Jerry) Dishmon, and Steven Beach.
A celebration of his life is planned for January 11th, 2025, in Port St Lucie, FL.
