James Lloyd Callihan, affectionately known as "Speck", and as one of the best upholsterers in Fannin County for several decades. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lloyd Callihan, his mother, Barbara Philips Callihan, brother Gary Callihan, Sister-in-law Beatrice Callihan, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Speck was well known in Fannin County as he was born, raised and lived there all his life. Speck has left a legacy of being one of the kindest human beings and would give anybody the shirt off his back, and helping in any way he could.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Marie Chambers, His grandchildren, Austin Lee Chambers and Haley Shyanne Chambers, Brother Michael (Michelle) Callihan Neices Stephanie and her husband Alvin and their son Brayden.
Speck was Baptist in Faith and a member of Morganton Baptist Association where he spent most of his time with Dr. Deanna Brown in the evenings and on weekends attending classes for people struggling and recovering in their own lifestyle. He was also a member of New Vision Church. Speck's testimony has helped several in need, sent the message to keep fighting and don't give up.
Speck had so many friends, too many to count or mention. He is missed dearly and has left a lasting imprint on many who were lucky enough to know him.
