James Arthur Chipps

James Arthur Chipps ,76 of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 23, 2025. James worked as a Plater Operation on the Tin Lines for 40 years. James also attended The Weirton Salvation Army where he was a member of The Men's Club.

James was born on August 11, 1949 in Steubenville Ohio son of the late Arthur and Florence (Emerick) Chipps. He is also procededed in death by two sisters, Tina Kuhns and Diana Barr.

James is survived by his wife of 43 years. Tamala F. (Rawson) Chipps, three children Mandy (David) Byrd of Weirton, Jaime Chipps of Steubenville and Sierra Chipps of Steubenville. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Cheyenne Byrd, Cooper Chipps, Sylis Egnew, and Alailah Egnew, his twin brother Robert Chipps of Steubenville, and his sister Rose Therminy of Las Vegas. Special thanks to Dr. Saieed Saieed for the many years of excellent care given to James and to Valley Hospice for the wonderful care given by them.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd at 4:00 pm at The Salvation Army in Weirton.
