I was so sorry to hear the passing of Dr. Chism. I remember all those late nights when our mares were foaling, and it only took one call and Doc Chism was there in his truck. He never failed our family or our animals, and I wish I could´ve told him how much he was appreciated. He was a loyal and dependable individual and they don´t make them like that anymore. My prayers and thoughts will be going out to the Chism family.

What a mighty man. I just learned of him as I clicked Google News. The world was blessed to have him. Now he watches from above. My comfort and prayers to the family, community, the animals & especially his beloved widow. That's love! Be abundantly blessed. The author of this obituary & eulogy is truly gifted & honored this gentleman, "Swift" amazingly. Thank you for your service to the USA & mankind. Sincerly, Shannon, a Child of God.
