Coach Connor was a leader of men. I am forever thankful for the opportunity to play QB for coach in 9th grade which helped lead to my collegiate football career that concluded as a starter for PennSt. My prayers go up for Coach Connor and his entire family.

The world has lost a legend. I had the honor of coaching 9th grade football with coach. Scouting every Friday night for varsity and in all kinds of weather. The education he gave me and the stories we could tell. Rest in peace coach and thank you for all the wonderful memories. You will be missed by everyone who knew you.

I am saddened to hear of Jims´s passing. During his time at the James W. Parker Middle School his quiet, thoughtful, steady leadership was appreciated. I came to him numerous times with concerns about students and he listened well then thoughtfully offered solutions. He took many struggling students under his wing to mentor or give a little attention to. My condolences to his family.

He was a dedicated and passionate coach who inspired and encouraged his players to always give their best on and off the court. His love for the game and for his players was evident in all that he did and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, coach.

Julie,
So sorry to hear about your father passing. Coach was one of my favorite teachers at NWH, he will be missed by so many people, but welcomed into heaven with open arms of the angels.
