James F. Conway Sr.

James F. Conway Sr., 82, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Albany Medical Center. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Patrick and Anne (Mulligan) Conway.
A graduate of All Hallows High School in the Bronx, he went on to continue his education at Manhattan College. Jim was a long-time dedicated Accountant, including many years at C & S Building in Latham.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Saratoga Eagles and the Greenwich Elks.
Above all, Jim cherished the time he spent with his family.
Jim is survived by his children James F. Conway Jr. (Lesley), Suzanne Kelly (James), Jeanne Chirgwin (Andrew) and Jack Conway (Stacy). His grandchildren: Katherine Conway, James Conway III, Megan Kelly, Quinn Kelly, Sara Chirgwin, Dylan Chirgwin, Alex Chirgwin, Patrick Conway, Alaina Conway, and Maria Conway. Also surviving are his long-time companion, Barbara White and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Jim was predeceased by his brother John Conway and his sister Anne "Nancy" Carr.
Calling hours for Jim will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm at the funeral home.
