James Coplin

James "Jimmy" Coplin, age 68, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with COPD. Jimmy was surrounded by many loved ones during his passing. He was born on September 13, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri; a son of William Coplin and Dorothy (Martin) Coplin.
In his early years of life, he attended Herculaneum Schools in Herculaneum Missouri. After school he served in the Marines for a few years. Years later he found the love of his life and was united in Marriage to Ana "Crawford" Coplin on February 19, 1992.
He had a kind heart and brought smiles wherever he went. He always seemed to know just what to say to lighten the room. He was a hard worker and spent most of his life working construction. Jimmy would do anything to help whomever he could. His love for his grandkids and great grandkids was fierce. He adored the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Ana Coplin of the home.
His Daughter. Jamie Brutsman of Rocky Mount. Missouri, her children and Grandchildren Makayla Shell, her children Kalliopie, Kinsley, James Byram his children- Amberlie and Venelope, Daniel (Victoria) Byram their children- Bentlee, Jaxson, Serenity, and Daniel JR. Ryley Stretch his child- Lorelei, and Ryan Stretch and his child Kaine. His Son Brandon (Elizabeth) Coplin. of Lake Ozark Missouri and their children- Brandon, Konnor, and Jaxsen. His Son. Ty Coplin of Lake Ozark, Missouri and his daughter Maysley.Other survivors include many great friends and other relatives.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents William Coplin and Dorothy Coplin. His brother Mike Coplin. Nephew Jeremy Coplin.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Quail's Nest Inn and Suites Confrence Room 4644 Osage Beach Pkwy, Osage Beach, Missouri

For all the hunts throughout the years

Like the crisp mornings and dusky nights
A trophy buck within our sights
Deer camp with friends and Family
These moments meant so much to me
When peace from nature all around
Was shattered by a sudden sound
I always hoped your aim was true
And smiled with pride for all of you

Stalking the fields has just begun
