James Michael "Mickey" Cothran

COTHRAN, James Michael "Mickey", 73, resident of Prattville, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Prattville Memorial Chapel at 11:00 am with Micheal Gillyard, Pastor Mack Farley and Zach Bigley officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Wednesday from 9:30 until 11:00. Mr. Cothran was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris "Dot" Cherry Cothran; parents, Judge and Margaret Cothran; sister, Jane Griggs. He is survived by his wife, Norma Cothran; daughter, Heather Cothran Bulger (Chris); stepdaughter, Amy Grimes (Greg); stepson, Anthony Andrews (Shanda); seven grandchildren, Harleigh Elizabeth Bulger, Harper Ann Bulger, Heath Grimes (Kristian), Heather Grimes, Logan Andrews, Laney Andrews and Landon Andrews; sister-in-law, Sheila Brannon; best fur friend, Charlie; extended family and many friends. Mickey was the newly elected Pine Level Councilman. Pallbearers will be Anthony Andrews, Heath Grimes, Logan Andrews, Landon Andrews, Zach Bigley and Kyle Shirley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Deavers, Keith Shirley, Jerry Crosby, Pete Herman and Carey Barnes.
