On June 19, 2025, our beloved James Joseph Crouchman gained his wings for his final flight into heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home at 2:00 PM
James was born April 10th, 1975, in Benlomond Calfornia to Joseph Anthony Crouchman and Carol Jo Montgomery. James' love of his family, music and fellowship was forged through the church at a young age and reflected all throughout his life. James attended Sierra Blanca High School where he graduated Valedictorian and later attended ENMUR and earned his AAS in Aviation Maintenance.
Upon graduating he moved to Everett Washington to work for BF Goodrich Aerospace and later Boeing. While expanding his career in the great Northwest, he met the love of his life, Nancy Sawyer whom he married in 1999 and had six beautiful children with. James' passion for aviation took him to various places around the world, His work ethic and perfection to his craft were second to none. James was admired by many in his field as a leader and role model. After many years in the Northwest, James decided to move his family to the warmth of the Southwest. James would continue his passion for aviation working for AerSale, Dean Baldwin and as an Aviation Instructor at ENMU Roswell.
James was very approachable, open-minded and easy to talk to. Throughout his life James mentored, guided, and assisted many in need. No one was a stranger at his home. He loved to feed anyone who was hungry while telling jokes and sharing stories that made everyone laugh! He loved to grill and jam out!
James was knowledgeable in many subjects; he was known as a walking trivia book.
His many passions included his taste for a wide variety of music, history, movies, reading and telling jokes. James' comedic mind brought smiles, laughter and happiness to many faces throughout the years.
James' larger than life heart, contagious smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all whom he knew and loved.
