James Alan Davis, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on September 13, 1954, to JM and Armaretta Davis.
James lived a life of service as a pipefitter, I/E technician, firefighter, paramedic, and registered nurse. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diana Sue.
James is survived by his loving wife, Becky; sons, Jordan, Matthew, and Jake; stepchildren, Lindsey and Taylor; grandchildren, Jameson, Angel, Raleigh, Johnny, and Radley; sisters, Nita Davis, Janice Nolan (Buddy), and Martha Steely (Kip); and brother, Doug and his beloved but crazy German Shepherd, Sybil.
A visitation with friends and loved ones will be Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, in Texas City, Texas. A funeral service will be held at Emken-Linton Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. His legacy of love and care will forever be cherished. Graveside services will be on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Newcastle Cemetery, in Newcastle, Texas.
