James Edward Dawson

James "Jim" Edward Dawson, 68, of Vilonia, formerly of Pine Bluff, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 10, 2025.
Born July 15, 1957, in Newport, Arkansas, Jim was the son of the late William Henry Dawson and Lenora Foster Dawson.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving time in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, and Okinawa. Jim was of the Pentecostal faith.
Jim's working career included time at Ben Pearson's and Central Moloney before his twenty-plus years at International Paper.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast, specifically a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, and was known to enjoy the sun on his back and the breeze in his face.
Jim was preceded in death by a brother, William Ronnie Dawson; a sister, Lavonda Gail Dawson; and a brother-in-law, George Harvey.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Frazier and her husband Delbert of Vilonia, and Pat Harvey of Hot Springs; nieces & nephews, Michael Frazier, Stacy Baker, Jeffery Frazier, Cristel Ross, and Nancy Harvey; great nieces, Katie Gordon, Shelby Olive, Sara Olive, Rachel Olive, and Addison Frazier; great nephews, Jordan Harvey, Dawson Frazier, Houston Frazier, Gunnar Baker, Baron Schnaufer, and Noah Frazier; great-great nephews, Keagen and Talon Gordon; great-great niece, Michelle-Kaye Harvey and many other loving family & friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, 807 S. Cherry St., Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71601.
Private Inurnment in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive guests prior to services starting at 1:00 p.m.
