James Robert Deskins; Age 94 of Webster, New York (formerly of Sebring, Florida; Marlette, Troy, and Roseville, Michigan) passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York.
He was born May 30, 1930 to Hiram and Mildred Deskins (nee: Barrows) in Huntington, West Virginia. Graduated from Warren High School in 1948 and spent over 40 years working at the Defense Tank Division of Chrysler (later General Dynamics).
In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing in Florida with his wife and friends, traveling to see all 50 states, and visiting his family in Michigan and New York.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen (nee: Minneman), of 73 years; his children, Patricia, and David (Janet); his grandchildren, Michelle, Aaron, and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Marlee, and Malana.
He was predeceased by beloved son, Dennis and son-in-law, Anthony Lemke.
There will be no calling hours.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
