Blacksburg -- James William "Dick" Duncan Jr, 65, of 115 Boxcar Alley Lot 13, passed away on Friday, October 24th, 2025, at his home.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late James William "Bill" Duncan Sr. and Mearl Lamb Duncan, and he previously worked in textiles. He loved to play pool, listen to music, and play his guitar.
Surviving Mr. Duncan are three sons: Clay, Brian (Stacy), and Shannon Duncan (Carla); a daughter, Renae Griffin (Elton); two sisters, Teresa Donaldson and Tina Owens; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brooks Duncan, two brothers, Randy and Ricky Duncan, and three sisters: Darlene Price, Debbie Mullinax, and Sherry Davis.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, from 4:00pm - 5:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 5:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
The family will be at their respective homes.
