It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Eagon, a proud retired U.S. Marine, who passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him deeply. Known for his stubborn spirit and fierce loyalty, James was a man who loved wholeheartedly, lived passionately, and never hesitated to stand up for the people he cared about. Whether it was sharing stories over a glass of Jameson, riding with his brothers in the Armed Forces Motorcycle Club, or lending a helping hand to anyone in need, he made a lasting impression everywhere he went. A true biker at heart, James was a proud and dedicated member of the Armed Forces Motorcycle Club for 35 years. The open road was his sanctuary, and the brotherhood he found in the club became a second family-one he cherished deeply. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Eagon of Leesburg, Florida, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. He also leaves behind his sister Bambi; his children Steven Sauceda, Patricia Davis (Matthew Davis), Christina Arnold (Bobby Arnold), Juan Sauceda, Victoriann Sauceda, Davarian McCormick and Brandi Bumgardner; and twenty grandchildren who brought him endless pride and joy. James was the kind of man who might grumble while helping you-but you never had to ask twice. His heart was as big as his personality, and though he wasn't always easy to get along with, his love was deep, loyal, and real. Funeral services with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery - 6502 SW 102nd Ave Bushnell, FL 33513 on September 19 at 11:30 AM. Family, friends, and fellow riders are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well lived and fiercely loved. May he ride free and rest easy. Semper Fi. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
