It is with heavy hearts that we announce that James "Snoopy" Easley gained his wings on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
James loved life, family, and his children. He was always full of life and smiling. He was one of a kind. He loved his job at the fast food places that he worked because he loved meeting new people daily. James gave his life to the Lord a few months back as he was getting his life in order. He will be greatly missed.
James is survived by his children, James Edward Easley, Jr., Allison Mae Easley and John Oliver Easley, all of Cedar Grove, TN; his mother, Julie Easley of Covington; his brother, Billy Easley of Ripley; his sister, Jamie May of Covington; his partner in love, Charley Honshell of Stanton; his grandmother, Jinnie Bea Ferrell of Covington and a host of nieces, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Easley; his niece. Maddie May; his stepfather, JL Smith; his maternal grandfather, Pete Ferrell and his paternal grandparents, Jake and Mary Lois Easley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
