Age 53, passed away on January 24, 2026, after a short illness. He was the devoted father of Chloe, Caroline, and Abigail Egan; son of the late John C. Egan Jr. and Ellen L. Egan; brother of Jack (Sharon) Egan, Mary (Troy) McCann, Robert (Giti) Egan, Patricia Gude, and Nancy Egan; and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim was a loyal friend, including to his Williamsville South High School and Colgate University football teammates and classmates. Known for his good spirit, he built lasting friendships and was, above all, a genuinely great guy who treated others with kindness and respect. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (at Hopkins Road), where services will follow at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of New York. Condolences may be shared at www.AMIGONE.com
