James Anthony Elrod

It is with great sorrow and heartache that the family has to announce the passing of James Anthony Elrod at 39 years old.
James was a wonderful loving father, partner, son, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. James had the kind of once in a lifetime charismatic personality that made him light up any room he was in and to know him was to love him.
James had many loves in life most importantly his son, family, and friends but he was also a celebrated wrestler for Merritt Island High School and a well-known bowler not only at his league alley, Shore Lanes, but also in the PBA as well.
James is preceded in passing by his father Andrew Elrod (36), his paternal grandmother Lee Elrod, and maternal grandparents Frederick and Louise Bezer. James leaves behind a beautiful son Jackson Elrod, his loving mother Beatrice Elrod Bezer, his long-time partner Christine Cash, many aunts, uncles, and cousins and as well a long list of beloved brothers and sisters he got to choose.
James loved everyone so much and had so much love to give, he was a bright light in a dim world. While James' passing has left an emptiness in many lives his family would like to encourage that he be remembered as the funny, passionate, and caring person that he was and that we let his memory live on in stories memories and in all of our hearts.
