James A. England, known as Jim to his friends and family, passed away on September 11, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born on November 14, 1955, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Jim's outlook for life and infectious humor touched everyone he knew. He departed this world in Tallmadge, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service.

Jim's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his country, having honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. His patriotic spirit continued long after his military service as he remained actively involved with the Ravenna VFW, American Legion, Eagles, and Moose Lodge. These organizations not only benefited from his commitment but also provided a fellowship that Jim treasured throughout his life.

A man of many interests, Jim was known for his loving nature, friendly demeanor, and a sense of humor that could light up even the darkest of rooms. His ability to make others laugh was unparalleled, and his presence was a source of joy and comfort to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jim's family was the cornerstone of his world. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, He also joins his sister Carol, and his parents, Barb and Bill, leaving behind memories and stories that will continue to be shared by those who loved them.

Jim is survived by his devoted brother, Dave, and his caring sister, Alisa. His legacy is carried on through his children, Shawn, Brandi, and Bobbie, his 4 nephews, 1 niece and multiple cousins who will forever cherish the lessons and love he imparted. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will grow up knowing their grandfather's spirit through tales and stories told by others.

Throughout his life, Jim formed countless friendships, each one significant and special. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life was one of his greatest gifts. Jim's family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the community that embraced him, laughed with him, and supported him through the years.

As we bid farewell to Jim, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a journey well-traveled. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. James A. England's story does not end here; it lives on in the hearts of those he touched, the service he rendered, and the laughter he shared. Rest in peace, Jim, your memory will forever be a beacon of joy and camaraderie in our lives.
