James Felter Obituary

James Felter, a former resident of Port Jervis, died May 14, 2024 in Beaufort, SC. He was 67.
The son of the late Harrison and the late Marie Felter; he was born October 9, 1956 in New York City.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1975-1979. After his military service, Jim worked for the City of Austin, Texas fire department achieving the rank of chief. He retired several years ago after a dedicated career.
Jim resided in Austin, Texas for 30 plus years before moving to Beaufort, SC upon retirement.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Eileen Fuentes and her husband Oscar, his grandchildren, Hollie, Jayden and Adrian; his brother Kevin Felter; his brother Brian Felter and his wife Sandy. Alsomany nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his wife Beverly Felter.
A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.
