Eric Walter Felter, a loving son, cherished brother, and talented film editor, was born on June 3, 1978, in Maryland. He passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 47 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Eric’s steadfast spirit and zest for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted father, Brian Felter; his loving mother, Bonnie Felter; his sister, Kiersten, and her husband, Greg; as well as his beloved feline companion, Jack, who brought joy and comfort to his life.
Eric was a passionate artist whose love for film and cinema brought him endless joy. His keen eye for editing and soundtracks transformed stories into visual poetry, capturing the hearts of viewers everywhere. His artistic expression extended beyond film, as he created various forms of art throughout his lifetime.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Eric will remember him not only for his creative talents but also for his warmth, compassion, and unwavering friendship. He brought light into every room he entered, and his gentle spirit leaves a lasting legacy. In this time of reflection, let us honor Eric by sharing our memories and continuing to celebrate the artistic spirit he cherished so deeply. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will forever echo through the lives he touched and the art he created.
