Mark Felter Obituary

Mark S. Felter, 66, St. Marys, WV, went home to the Lord, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born September 23, 1958, in Pleasants County, WV, the son of Maxine Boley Spellman and the late Kenneth R. Felter. He was a member of the St. Marys Elks Lodge #1701 and worked for the Department of Highways until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the beach, his dog Lettie Bell, and campfires with friends.
Survivors other than his mother include his son, Justin (Tara) Felter; wife, Debbie Davis; uncle, Mike Felter; nephew, Logan Coplin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife, Marsha Higgins Felter; sister, Debbie Coplin Felter; and two uncles Ronald L. Felter, and Wilmer Boley.
No service is planned at this time per his wishes. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
