James Joseph Fitzpatrick Jr.

James (Jim) Joseph Fitzpatrick, Jr., of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. Born July 6, 1943, to the late James, Sr., and Mary (nee Sweeney) Fitzpatrick, Jim was the beloved husband, for almost 50 years, of Jo-Ann Fitzpatrick (nee Dunlap); dear brother of Mary Aherne and Rita Harper; and loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jim was born in Berwyn and graduated from Lancaster High School. He was a member of the National Guard and worked for Easttown Township for over 30 years. Had a kind heart, loved a good joke, had lots of hobbies and interests, and took pride in his award-winning light blue 1963 Chevy truck.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jim's Life Celebration on Wednesday, May 22 from 7 to 9 PM at the Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, Pa 200 W. Germantown Pike, and again on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406 from 9:30 to 10:20 AM, followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 AM; interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
