James D. “Pete” Flood, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Patsy Ann Flood; cherished son of the late Robert and Helen Flood; devoted father of Nancy (John Reeves) Giaimo, Keith Flood and the late Debra Flood; loving grandfather of Kyle A. (Ashley) Weintraut, Aaron M. Weintraut and Shannon N. Reeves; treasured great-grandfather of Liam James Weintraut and Lanie Marie Weintraut; dear brother of Carl Edward (Margie) Flood, Kevin Pisenti and the late Richard G. Flood.
Pete proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years. He had a strong faith, Pete was a proud and active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church all of his life; and a part of the Men’s Club, Nehemiahs, Widow’s Group and was an usher for the church for many years. Pete worked at McDonnell Douglas as an engineer for many years.
Pete was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and loved collecting baseball memorabilia and coins. He loved and adored his family dearly. Pete was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Pete's name to an animal shelter of your preference.
