Kevin D. Flood, 66, of Kinnelon, passed away on September 9, 2025, surrounded by family.

Kevin was born in New York City and raised in Dumont, NJ. He graduated from Bergen Catholic High School before attending Fairfield University. At Fairfield, he found his tribe on the rugby team, and remained an avid lifelong fan of the club. College is also where he took up Spanish, which later led to his 40+ year career in banking in Latin America. He was a man of many hobbies, including ultrarunning, golfing, playing guitar, listening to classic rock, painting, hiking, Wordle, and reading. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, particularly his grandchildren.

Kevin is survived by Kathy, his adoring wife of 36 years; daughter Meaghan Flood, her husband Edwin Nunez, and his grandchildren Luca and Amelia; daughter Mariel Golden, her husband Sean, and granddaughter Sloane; mother Geraldine Barry and her husband Daniel Sammartino; brother Joseph Flood and his wife Suzanne Neeser; sister-in-law Monica Flood; his 12 nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brother, Keith Flood; uncle Msgr. Patrick J. Barry; sister-in-law Susan Flood; stepfather Dave Mock; father Kevin J. Flood.

Visitation will take place on Monday, September 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church in Kinnelon. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 16 at 10 a.m., also at Our Lady of the Magnificat.
