James W. France passed away March 5, 2024. James was born to Maurice and Rita (Zwick) France on May 22, 1956. He was the youngest child of 9 that included Connie, Joe, John, Jerry, Jude, Jeff, Maurita and Mary. Some of Jims favorite things were visits from his brothers, phone calls to and from family members, McDonalds Coffee, (both piping hot and icy cold), with a double cheeseburger. In his younger years he loved watching music videos, listening to his transistor radio, reading his Bible and taking walks.
For the past 12 years, Jim has resided at Hanover House in Massillon where he became a favorite of the caring staff and visitors that he always said he "was welcoming into the building". In the last weeks of his life, he was also attended to by the compassionate staff of Crossroads Hospice.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, 10:00a.m. at St. Louis Cemetery in Louisville. Condolences and special memories of Jim can be shared with his family online at www.paqueletfalk.com.
