James Gooding Obituary

Born in Hagerstown, MD on December 30, 1942, he was the son of the late Carl W. Gooding and Betty Patterson Gooding.
Mr. Gooding is a veteran of the United States Air Force where we served as an Airman First Class. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and a retired vice president of First Health Services Corporation. Mr. Gooding was an active member of the Sea Trail Men's Golf Association.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia; son Phillip C. Gooding, of Christiansburg, VA; brother Terry Gooding, of St. Louis, MO; and grandchildren Parker and Preston.
A memorial service to celebrate James's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2PM in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, NC. Inurnment will follow the service in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
