James A. "Jim" Gragg, 74 of Durbin passed away on Sunday, August 17, at WV Caring in Elkins.

Jim was born on December 28, 1950, son of Paul Donald and Hallie Virginia Gragg.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Donna and son Jamie (Hannah) Gragg of Marlinton. Other survivors: mother-in-law Hilda Brock of Durbin; brothers: Billy (Cathy) Gragg, Dick Gragg and Tony Gragg all of Ravenna, OH: sisters: Sandy (Ron) Dixon of Colombia, MD, Cathy Thornton and Debra Holbrook all of Ravenna, OH: sisters-in-law: Jean Craig of Colombia, SC; Diana Arbogast of Bartow; Teresa (DeWayne) Rhea of Marlinton; brothers-in-law: Larry (Donna) Sheets of Manassas, VA and Tom (Candy) Sheets of Front Royal, VA and many, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were a son, Patrick Andrew; sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Coontz and Dorothy Denning; and a brother Gary Gragg, all of Ravenna, OH

Jim was a US Navy Veteran and retired after 33 years of service at Huttonsville Correctional Center and had many friends there.

His wish for cremation was followed. There will be a memorial service at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale on Saturday, August 23 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service.
