Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hackworth; parents, Homer and Ethel Hackworth; brothers, J. R. Hackworth, Edwin Hackworth and Virgil Hackworth; infant sister, Marie Hackworth; sisters: Naomi Toney, Clara Rice, and Wilma Gouge.
Survived by his children: James David Hackworth, Roy H. Hackworth and Lawanna Hackworth; one grandson; brother, Vernon Hackworth along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
