Mr. Haislip had been a year-long resident of Windsor House nursing home where he became good friends with the entire staff. He constantly praised how they made him feel special.
He developed a friendship with the musicians and vendors at the camp in Mid City where he spent many weekends. He loved rock music and traveled across the country to hear his favorites.
He was a kind and gentle soul who cared for others' welfare above his own, he expressed to his medical team including Dr. Willis, Zach West, Heather James, and The Rocket City infusion team kept him alive and made him feel well cared for.
Other friends include Anne Lineberry, Steve Lineberry, Gene Lineberry, and Clay Phillips.
A celebration of his life will be scheduled for a later date.
