James "Jim" Hanna

James "Jim" Hanna, age 65, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 11:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at home. He was born in Portland, ME on February 3, 1959, the son of Conrad E. & Margaret R. (Collins) Hanna.
He was a 1977 graduate of North Daviess High School. He worked as a material handler for 10 years at Metal Technologies. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Elnora American Legion Post 245 and enjoyed playing poker, fishing and going target shooting but he especially loved spending time with his beloved dog Vader and his loving family.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Hanna of Worthington; children, Erin (Jason) Yoder of Odon, Haley (Rodney) Lengacher of Elnora, Russell Pershing of Crane, Tara (Aaron) Steffey of Elnora and Addison Jolliff of Washington; grandchildren, Marshall Yoder, Jessie Yoder, Kameron Pershing, Austin Pershing, Zane Pershing, Kai McDonald, Navi Overton and Grayson Steffey; sister, Jeannie (Scott) Wininger; nieces, Nicole Clark and Leigh Benjamin; great nephew, Benjamin Clark as well as several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be observed by the family at Fairview Cemetery in Elnora at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.
