James Teddy "Ted" Hardin

James Teddy Hardin, 79, beloved husband of Pat (Looper) Hardin passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Ader D. Hardin and Jessie O. Hardin.
Ted was a proud graduate of Parker High School and later attended Greenville Technical College. He retired from the Greenville News with forty-one years of service.
He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Dacusville. He had a passion for reading and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Ted enjoyed spending quality time with his family, finding joy in their company and creating memories that will forever be cherished.
In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, left to cherish his memory are two sons, Chad Hardin and his wife Lindsay and Scott Hardin and his wife Crystal; grandchildren, Georgia, Joshua, Hamilton, and Miles; sister, Judy Campbell; and brother, Johnny Hardin.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
