James Phil Henderson, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler Warren; brothers, David, Bobby, and Jerry Henderson; and son-in-law Chris Potter.
Phil proudly served his country with honor as a Corporal in the Army. His experiences shaped a man who valued both service and community, highlighting the principles of hard work and responsibility that he would later instill in those around him. His ability to bring joy to family gatherings made him not just a good family man but also the heart of many cherished memories. Sharing a laugh, Phil had a way of uplifting those around him, he also enjoyed listening to country music and playing with the dog. He often spent his free time at the lake, tinkering with equipment and tools, but most of all, he loved making memories with family and friends.
