Mr. James "Jim" Holloway, Sr. age 65, passed away on June 9, 2025.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, June 13, 2025 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
James was born on June 19, 1959 in Lewisburg, Tennessee to the late Milton and Treva Holloway.
He dedicated forty years of loyal service to Kroger, retiring in 2019, and was a member of Petersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Matthew) Holloway Hughey, of Murfreesboro; a son, James "Jamie" (Christy Black) Holloway, Jr. of Readyville; sister, Lynda (John) Reed, of Shelbyville; nieces, Stacy (Ben Roth) Arnold, of Hendersonville and Stephanie (Brian) Rives, of Fayetteville; nephew, Daniel Reed of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Madelynne (Hayden Carter) Bogle, of Rock Island, Samuel Holloway and Cole Black, both of Readyville, Joshua Hughey and Natalie Hughey, both of Murfreesboro, Addie Black Holloway and Izzie Black Holloway, both of Readyville, and one great-grandchild, Raelynne Kay Carter, of Rock Island; also several cousins, great nieces and great nephews and extended family.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
