James Hugh Hubbard, age 86, of Gainesville, GA., passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was a native of Forsyth County and a member of Belmont Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Bethleen Hubbard; brothers, Jimmy, Roy, and Billy Hubbard.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marlene Hubbard; children, Steve (Gayle) Hubbard, Stacey Cowart, Jason (Amy) Hubbard, Jonathan (Lara) Hubbard; grandchildren, Riley, Emma Grace, Cooper, Landon, Logan and Hayden; sister, Linda Gravitt; brothers and sisters in law, Charles (Joan) Hubbard and Ronald (Hazel) Hubbard; several other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Compton officiating. Interment to follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
