James V. Huisheere

James V. Huisheere, 81, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 in his home.He was born September 21, 1943 on the family farm in Bradford Township, WI, the son of Floyd and Martha (Kolbeck) Huisheere. Jim was a 1963 graduate of Clinton High School, Clinton, WI. He married Frances Smith on June 6, 1964 in Shopiere Methodist Church.Jim had been a dairy farmer and most recently raised crops, cattle and hogs. Jim was an easy-going kind of guy who loved talking to everyone and telling jokes. He got along with everyone and was always willing to give a helping hand. Jim was at different times on the ASCS board, FHA board, Bradford and Clinton Fire District Boards, Rock County 4-H Fair board, ABS services, Shopiere Community July 4th Committee for 25 to 30 years, was a Bradford 4-H leader, Free mason, AMPI outstanding young farmer of the year and was a representative and clerk for George Auction Services since 1969.Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Frances; children, Dan (Kris) Huisheere, Lora (Mike) Henning, and Doug (Nikki) Huisheere; grandchildren, Lucas (Tayton) Huisheere, Hillary (Dan) Michalski, Zach (Jess Alf) Huisheere; Suzanne (Bryce) Curley and Evan (Cassandra) Henning; great grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Lily and one on the way; sister, Ellie (Ed) Hahneman; numerous nieces and nephews.We would like to give a special thank Dr. Aric Hall of UW Carbone Cancer Center, Dr. Tejesh Patel of Beloit Health System, and Agrace Hospice nurses and staff for their loving care.He was predeceased by his parents; four brothers and three sisters.A memorial service for Jim will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Ed Greenfield officiating. Burial will be in Emerald Grove Cemetery. Visitation of remembrance will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025 in the funeral home. Visitation will also be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Shopiere Congregational Church or Agrace Hospice.
