He was born on June 10, 1998 in Sheboygan, WI, a son to Jake Jacobson and Tammy (Radder) Lucas.
JD graduated from Plymouth High School in 2016. He worked at Toro Company and cooked at Fudgienuckles Sports Pub for many years.
JD loved a new adventure; he would travel all over the world to hike and camp with his best friend, Connor. He enjoyed taking road trips and traveled to 32 different States with his Mom. JD was a free spirit. He would brighten up a room just with his presence. He was so caring, loving, and had a great sense of humor that will be missed dearly by so many people. JD had a great love for animals, especially for his dog, Ebby.
Survivors include his parents, Tammy Lucas and Jake (Cary) Jacobson; three brothers, Brent Lucas (significant other Nicole Rahmer), Lex Lucas, Josh (Becky) Janezick; two nephews, Lawson Lucas and Leo Janezick; grandfather, James Jacobson; grandmother, Patricia Lewitz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Crystal Radder and grandfather, Curtis Lewitz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM; with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM. Pastor RaeAnn Beebe will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter in memory of JD.

He was a very kind person who brightened your day with his smile and generosity. He will be deeply missed by many. I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. JD was a good kid and will never be forgotten.
